The Suncoast Humane Society and the
Humane Society of Sarasota County are two
of my favorite websites. I adopted my dog, Baby, from the Humane
Society of Sarasota County and my cat, Frisky, came from Suncoast Humane
Society. Both organizations do an outstanding job. They not only
take in unwanted animals and find "forever" homes for them, they offer a
variety of educational programs and services to the communities they serve.
They are wonderful places to volunteer if you have extra time.
If you are looking for a pet to become a new member of your family, these
websites are a great place to start because they both have photos of cats
and dogs that available for adoption and their adoption counselors will be
happy to help you find a pet with the temperament and energy level to suit
your family's lifestyle . |

animal lovers. Whether you are looking for pet services or just
information, you'll find this site fun and informative. They even have
some screensavers that are free for download.

"forever" homes. (One of our clients just adopted a 14 week old puppy
named Harry Potter. Isn't he cute?).
